Hello,
a bit about me:
I help students and educators build meaningful learning experiences rooted in curiosity, creativity, connection, and the belief that education should support the development of the whole person.
I am a bilingual educator, instructional leader, and curriculum designer with more than 20 years of experience across international, public, private, and bilingual school settings in both the United States and France. My work spans early childhood through secondary education and includes teaching, curriculum development, teacher mentoring, professional learning, interdisciplinary program design, and educational leadership.
I hold a Master of Education in Policy, Organization, and Leadership with a concentration in Learning Design and Leadership from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as certifications in K–12 Music, French, and TEFL with a specialization in Young Learners. My background combines instructional expertise with a strong foundation in curriculum design, assessment, educational innovation, and human-centered learning.
Throughout my career, I have designed student-centered learning experiences that integrate language, the arts, inquiry, movement, social-emotional learning, and real-world application. I have taught music, English, French, humanities, and interdisciplinary project-based courses; directed choirs and theatrical productions; coordinated international exchange programs; and developed bilingual curricular progressions aligned with both academic standards and holistic student development.
My educational philosophy is deeply influenced by inquiry-based learning, experiential education, neuroscience-informed practice, and the understanding that students learn best when they feel safe, engaged, challenged, and connected. Whether through project-based learning, performance, storytelling, technology integration, collaborative problem-solving, or reflective practice, I strive to create environments where learners can develop confidence, agency, and a lasting love of learning.
In addition to classroom teaching, my experience includes instructional coaching, curriculum writing, educator training, EdTech collaboration, school-wide project leadership, and cross-functional coordination with families, administrators, municipalities, and multidisciplinary teams. I have mentored and supervised educators, designed and facilitated professional development, and contributed to the implementation of innovative learning environments focused on flexibility, differentiation, and student engagement.
Fluent in English and French, I am especially drawn to internationally minded and forward-thinking learning communities that value both excellence and humanity. I believe education is not only about academic achievement, but also about helping young people learn how to think, collaborate, create, adapt, and live meaningfully with others in a complex and evolving world.
